Stoyee is committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families. This Privacy Policy applies to all users irrespective of the country of origin.

What We Collect

• Email address (from parent/guardian)
• Username, password (securely encrypted)
• Language preferences
• User-generated stories and content
• Basic device and usage info

What We Don’t Collect

• Child’s full name or address
• Phone numbers
• Government IDs or financial information

Your Rights

Parents or guardians can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s information.

What happens to the photo you upload to create a customized avatar?

When you upload a photo to create a personalized 3D face, we temporarily store the image in a private DigitalOcean Spaces bucket. The image is processed to generate an animated 3D avatar. We do not use biometric identifiers, facial recognition, or identity verification. Photos are permanently deleted after the avatar is successfully created, unless you request us to retain it for troubleshooting. You may request deletion of both the photo and the generated 3D model at any time by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject heading 'delete my photo and the generated model'. We do not sell, rent, or share photos or 3D avatars with any third parties.

United States – COPPA Compliance

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and obtain parental consent before collecting personal info from children under 13.

India – DPDP Compliance

We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Children under 18 require guardian supervision and consent.
